There are several things about our farm that our customers are surprised to know. They make life a little easier for you and hopefully make you feel valued as a customer. That's right you are more than cash or card to us. You are truly valued by us.
We know that you are busy. You most likely don't have the time to get to the grocery store let alone drive all the way out to our farm. As a convenience to you to make your life a little easier we take orders online. We deliver the weeks orders into town on Thursdays to College Street Market from 3-7pm, during the summer. During the winter we will deliver directly to your house if you live within the shoals area.
Because we were extremely particular about our product we have our pork processed by Mennonites in Paris, Tennessee. We have to make two trips there for delivery and pick up. That's a total of 604 miles per load! The reason we do it is because we love their bacon and all of their delicious sausages. It's worth it to see you keep coming back for more bacon and sausages.
It's no secret that the Shoals area has been notorious for being behind the curve with rewards to progress. So after completing college at Evergreen State in Washington and several jobs working for organic farms out west; I decided I wanted to be closer to family. ... North Carolina specifically. I had planned to make a brief stop at home in Tuscumbia then set off to settle down in North Carolina near Asheville where things are more progressive. I quickly discovered that during the time I had been away our sweet little conservative Shoals area had blossomed into a place I wanted to be a part of. I'm so glad that I did because it has been such a great fit for me. I love being a part of this community and helping it grow. Brian, who is originally from Jackson, TN, feels exactly the same way. There is such a warm embrace of small business here.
We have a chicken community supported agriculture a program or CSA.
We will soon be rolling out our Breakfast Club. Where we will provide bacon, sausages, eggs, and numerous other things in order for you to have a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Every year since our birth we have celebrated our customers on the week prior to Thanksgiving. Each year it has gradually gotten bigger and bigger. It originated as turkey pick up day. It is now evolved into a full-blown celebration of the holidays to come. We do small farm tours and invite other vendors out to the farm to participate as well. This year in addition to turkey we will also have cured hams and duck! Email me if you are interested in reserving a duck.
